During the event, Judy Wong, Country Manager of Tencent Malaysia, reflected on the company’s journey in Malaysia over the past decade. She highlighted Tencent’s localisation efforts, including early support for Bahasa Melayu on WeChat, as well as the company’s expansion across multiple sectors such as digital payments, artificial intelligence, gaming, cloud services, and digital content.

Judy also emphasised Malaysia’s unique multilingual and multicultural strengths, positioning the country as an effective bridge for brands and platforms looking to connect with diverse regional and global audiences.

Looking ahead, Tencent shared insights into its next phase of innovation, including developments in Palm AI and digital avatar technologies.
