Artificial intelligence is advancing rapidly, but its long-term success depends on more than innovation. Strong cybersecurity, secure digital infrastructure, data sovereignty and public trust are essential to ensuring Malaysia’s AI ambitions translate into sustainable digital growth.
This message was reinforced by Deputy Digital Minister Datuk Seri Wilson Ugak Kumbong, who highlighted the connection between AI adoption, infrastructure security and trust in the digital economy. As discussed in The Malaysian Reserve, an AI-driven nation must also be a secure nation, with trust underpinning the participation of businesses and individuals in the digital economy.
Key Priorities Shaping the Future of Cybersecurity
Over three days at CyberDSA 2026, Enzo Plus participated in the PIKOM – The National Tech Association of Malaysia’s Pavilion alongside fellow members and technology partner NetAssist.
The event brought together visitors from diverse backgrounds, including uniformed personnel, students, enterprises and business owners, creating opportunities to exchange perspectives on Malaysia’s evolving cybersecurity landscape.
Discussions centered on several critical priorities:
- AI Security: Securing AI models, applications and autonomous agents as adoption accelerates.
- Cyber Defence and Resilience: Strengthening organisations’ ability to identify threats, respond effectively and recover from cyber incidents.
- Digital Trust and Data Sovereignty: Protecting sensitive information and reinforcing confidence in digital systems.
- Cross-Sector Collaboration: Improving readiness through cooperation between government, industry and technology providers.
These priorities reflect the growing need to embed security into digital transformation from the outset, rather than treating it as an afterthought.

Advancing AI-Powered Cybersecurity
Enzo Plus also saw encouraging interest in CyCraft Technology, whose AI-powered cybersecurity solutions help organisations identify digital exposure, detect potential threats and strengthen their security posture.
As organisations expand their digital environments and adopt AI-driven technologies, gaining visibility into potential vulnerabilities and emerging threats becomes increasingly important. Proactive security capabilities can help businesses make better-informed decisions and build stronger cyber resilience.

Securing Trust in Malaysia’s Digital Future
Malaysia’s AI ambitions will depend on a secure and trusted digital foundation. Innovation, infrastructure and cybersecurity must progress together to support responsible AI adoption and encourage greater participation in the digital economy.
Enzo Plus remains committed to connecting organisations with relevant cybersecurity technologies and supporting stronger collaboration across Malaysia’s technology ecosystem.
We thank everyone who visited our booth and engaged with our team at CyberDSA 2026. We look forward to continuing these conversations and working together towards a more secure, resilient and trusted digital future.
